How it works

This clock speaks time using short sound “phrases” that repeat every 15s: Hour (Cat A-D) → Ten‑minutes (Cat E-F) → One‑minute digit (Cat A-D) → Ping (Cat G).

  • Cuts encode position: no cut = 1st of block, 1 cut = 2nd, 2 cuts = 3rd.
  • Hour block cycles every 3 hours across 4 distinct environment sounds.
  • Ten‑minutes uses singing bowls/rain markers with 0/1/2 cuts.
  • One‑minute digit uses environment markers (0-9).
  • Ping signals the end of the phrase.
